Monthly Saturday Kirtan
Lynnwood
Saturday
May 10
June 14
6:00 pm – 7:30 pm
“Kirtan” refers to chanting and, as Paramhansa Yogananda put it, “Chanting is half the battle!” Open your heart and still your mind to the Divine presence through devotional chanting! We use Indian harmoniums, guitars, drums, kirtals (bells), gong, and even harp! Chants by Paramhansa Yogananda, Swami Kriyananda, and mantric chants from India. Chanting followed by silent meditation. Families welcome for the chanting segment (which comes first). First twenty minutes reserved for personal yoga stretches.
